Sears Trailer VIN Location

Any idea where I can find the vin# on my 1973 Sears boat trailer. I found the data plate with the model and serial #, load weight, and year manufactured...

Probably never had a vin, most states didn't title or license small trailers back then.

Maybe look on tongue near coupler, and at the rear of the frame rails, inside or bottom.

If you need a vin, stamp a unique number in the frame somewhere.
