I acquired this setup earlier this year, and the rollers are pretty shot. I don't have much knowledge of working on trailers so was just looking for some quick advice. I noticed the keel rollers are attached to this aluminum center piece which appears to be removable pretty easily. At first I just wanted to swap out the rollers but I'm not exactly even sure how they are attached, it looks permanent.

How can I add new rollers to this setup? Would I buy new brackets and attach them by drilling into this aluminum center piece? The old brackets just worry me because of how they attach to the aluminum center piece and they have to be from 1992....

To sum it up, I just want to know how to attach new rollers to this aluminum trailer.

Thanks for any advice, they need to be swapped asap before they put me out of commission haha.

your just replacing the rollers and shafts, not even touching the brackets

Cool thanks, how do I detach the current shafts? They don't look like pal nuts, I always over think things.. Just try to rip the ends off?

You'd say that looks like a 5/8 shaft? Measures just about 5/8 but hard tellin..

you would have to look, none of your pictures show enough detail
