Hey guys, I've Been away way too long. I have a 15.5' Tri hull and 85hp Johnson, both late 70s vintage.

The trailer wheels are 4 hole, tires 155/80R12. I blew a tire pulling into my drive (luck of the Irish).

I'm thinking of going up one size to a 13' wheel; the prop rides REALLY low with a transon jack.

The trailer has fenders, Id like to leave them on and not replace them.

what size 13 inch tire/ wheel will do what i want. The guys at the tire shop just blink and stare when i mention going up a size.

Thanks.

A 13" wheel and tire will raise the trailer roughly 1/2". Will a 13'er fit? Can't say cuz I can't see your trailer.

Is a transom jack a transom saver? Why can't it lift the motor higher?

Yes i meant to say transom saver... was having a "Not so senior moment"..I should've said even with the transom saver in place the boat sits so low the prop/skeg sometimes drags leaving my drive.

I was hoping someone has had the same problem and knew an easy fix.
