Soooooo I sold my powerboat because if i afford the fuel whats the point of even having it . I diddnt want a project but I sure as heck got one . This is my first sailboat of any kind. Here come some pictures.

By most accounts they're good boats. Not quite a cruising boat, but better than a daysailer. You can see some about 'em HERE. Once you dig into the guts of that one and see what kinda' shape it's truly in, you can get a vibe on what kinda' boat it'll wind up being for you.

I have seem them on the water and a few folks on sailing forums that I used to frequent had them. Not the prettiest boat in the world, but they are OK.

The biggest concern with these older boats is to make sure you have a complete boat. (kind of late for that now, if you don't)

Anyway, go through everything, make sure it is all there, etc.

If you need a new sail, see Scott's comment. :)

I've got a Mariner 19 that I took apart in hopes of re-building . . . still a work in progress. :rolleyes:
