sucked up some samll rocks

so we got into some shallow water and sucked up some small rocks with our sea doo's. They did not accllerate at all and made a lot of racket. soon I put them both in reverse and the rocks went away. they accelerated normally after that. I hope I did not do any damage.Are these things ok to do that with every now and then? I mean not often but sometime this just happens. 1994 gtx and 1999 gtx ltd. thanks for your input.

its not ok when you sux up rocks your sucking up mud and sand running it through your motor a rule to go bye is 2 ft or more water otherwise dont run it
