Hey guys, have a friend looking to buy his first boat for a family of four. There are a lot of us that boat together and we have everyting from jet skis, to run abouts, to pontoons, to $500k cabin cruisers. Everyone is friends and this one family is getting tired of always relying on the rest of us. Great people....they want to slip into boating rather than jumping.
They would like to spend around 10k or less on a used jet boat. Can you buy a used 4 stroke jet boat in great shape for that kind of money? Looking at something in the 18 foot range or so. I know you can buy dual motor 2 strokes for a lot less tham 10k.
