I have a 1996, 787 Sea Doo that loses power intermittently in corners and quick turn-arounds; poor top end and poor acceleration.
I have rebuild the carburetors and indeed have gained about 3 mph. The original carb pump membranes were pretty humble. So, the carb pumps are known good and performance seems to follow suit.
There's a big difference when the low fuel indicator is on. I can believe this with fuel sloshing in the tank, but, overall, the engine seems to run better with the fuel line switched to reserve.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Might I be missing something with fuel pick-ups within the tank?
Thanks,
J
