mercury xr 120 sport jet problem

We just bought this boat. When we took it out for the first time it ran great. Now after about a couple of minutes of running it. It dies but starts right back up. some times it will start for only a second and shut off. Other times it will run for a good 20 minutes and then die. Had a new ignition harness put in thinking it might be that. still runs the same.

Check black/ yellow lines, it?s kill switch. Disconnect and se if same problem. It shut off straight ?. Like a knife, not hesitating ?.

How was your fuel system/carbs? Anybody have a look there when you bought it? Had she been sitting for a while, not getting used?
