It's a friends...Starter has a dead short according to the meter....
Looks like a ***** to get to. I've googled and searched the forums but can't find a decent write up or similar experience
Do I have to unbolt and rotate the motor?
It seems this is also his fourth starter....it seems to eat them. Checked the solenoid and cables and etc for corrosion or resistance and found nothing out of the ordinary
Any ideas on how to get the starter out? It's the 700 something motor (I can't remember right at the moment...it's like 787 or 757 something like that.....it's a rotax which I have never worked on before
