1997 yamaha waveventure 1100

im trying to remove the starter solenoid from my 1997 yamaha waveventure 1100
and i just dont want to be removing bolts and bolts is there a easy way..i took the black cover next to the gas tank
and now there is another black block covering everything do i need to remove the too i believe is the c.d.i unit is the starter relay is on the back of the c.d.i

please help
