I need an answer to a newbie question. I am the newest owner of a 94 Bayliner Jazz 14ft. with Merc Sport 90 jet drive. I need to be able to crank and test in the driveway. My old clamp-on flusher won't work with the jet drive, obviously, so how can I get around a $125 flush kit from Bayliner or Merc?

- Hose fitting from Home Depot. Male to Male connector + hose adapter/hose fitting:

- Use low pressure on water hose for connection to pickup at the pump - holding hose straight out in front of you, water barely rises over hose connection:

- Here's the hose adapter connected. The brass fitting above the hose adapter is where the water pickup normally connects for normal engine operation:

Water should be on before you crank/start but only low pressure as pictured above!
