Sea rayder water/flush hook up

Has anyone used a tee fitting into the water cooling line instead of disconnecting the line to cool engine when running out of the water? My only thought is some water would run out through the pump.

....thats not a bad idea... i have thought of that, but then you would have to cap it off pretty well.
