I took my 550 out today for the first time ever. I think i may have but the lid on crooked because I rode for the fisrt five minutes brought it back in to make sure I wasn't taking on water. Because I did notice one of my front clip screws was missing. Make a long story short. Didn't ha e hardly any water in it. Went back out 2 minutes motor died ski started sinking. My buddy came with the ripe and towed me in. Got it back home in 10 minutes . Emptied all water . Took the plugs out shot water out of the cylinders for a couple minutes until it was just mist. Sprayed some.wd40 in as well. Finally got it to start and ran it for a few minutes. Idling and running perfect. Put.it all back together. Do I need to do anything else ro the engine. This is a perfect motor don't want to waste it. Should I dump the gas and get fresh. Any tips. Thanks
