Oil Injection.

I have a 93 Polaris SL750 that I just bought, actually I almost got it for free. Anyways, I am not sure if the oil injection works or how reliable it is. What I would like to do, is just premix it. I am just wondering how to eliminate the oil injection so that it isn't injecting air or water (should it get into the hull) into the carbs, combustion chamber, etc. On my outboards I simply take a bolt and hose clamp it into the oil line and disconnect the oil pump and sensors. Same thing on a PWC motor?

Re: Oil Injection.

I understand that, but it just isn't even a real possibility with the motor still in the ski. The oil injection pump on this particular motor is underneath the fuel/carb rail. There is no way to just "bolt on a $12 cover." You have to pull the motor first. There has to be other options.

You leave the carbs on the intake and pull the unit. You don't have to pull the motor, you just have to be limber enough or don't mind working by touch.
