kids took out 1991 yamaha vxr 650 over weekend--heard pop--died.
engine runs and intermediate driveshaft turns, but driveshaft to jet pump does not.
removed intake grate and you can spin shaft by hand--very easily.
could the shaft have broken or pulled out of connector? Doesn't it have a spline on the front end?
do I need to drop jet pump and pull shaft out for examination?
