I have a 1997 SeaDoo GTI that I've posted about before. I've been told by a tech that water was in my engine over the winter because I didn't winterize it correctly and that the crank may be rusted. That sounds kinda odd to me, but who knows.
The engine will start, but it sounds like a rod is bent or the crank is bad so I shut her down to prevent further damage. My question is, where do I go to see how to step-by-step remove the engine? I'm a pretty good shade tree mechanic as I've worked on cars for 40+ years, but the inside of a jet ski doesn't look anything like a car, so I'm looking for help.
Thanks,
texasvet
