1997 GTI SeaDoo idle issue

I have a 1997 GTI SeaDoo that idles just a little rough but full out it is fast and smooth as can be. If I'm idling and give it just a little throttle, it acts like it wants to die. I overcome this by making sure that I go straight past that point when I accellerate to pretty high RPM's.

I've got clean gas. Any ideas on how to tackle this issue or is it just something that an older SeaDoo does?

Thanks,

Low speed carb circuit needs attention. There are separate portions of the carb that need to be set prior to anything alse, including the idle speed adjustment and the idle mixture.

Here is the service/repair manual for your ski. Fuel systems are in chapter 5. Just click the blue DOWNLOAD button and it will open in PDF format. It's free.
