1993 Kawasaki TS650 - What to look for

I found an used 93 Kawasaki TS650 for sale. At the price they are asking I'm not expecting a whole lot, but then I'm not afraid of a project. The owner says it hasn't been run in probably 10 years.

I do have a couple questions:

How hard are these to work on?

Are parts prohibitively expensive?

Anything specific I should look at?

this ski is not going to be that great, it is very under powered. parts for it are going to be pretty cheap.

check to make sure the ski runs, the compression is good, and the impeller isn't all trashed. Even then, I wouldn't pay more than $300

Thanks for the info.

They are asking $200 for it. I'm not real confident it's going to run right off the bat after sitting 10 years.

I have a compression tester so I'm familiar with doing that.

Anyone have a link to a good source for parts? I'd like to scope that out before committing to buying it.

That was one of my favorite skis back in the day. Not powerful, just fun. If it's not running now, it's value is minimal, but it sounds like the price is right.
