Have a 95 sea doo gtx that ran fine last year.this year after running great for about 15 min,it starts cutting out.if you cut it off and wait for a few minutes,it will run fine again for a few minutes then problem starts again.it has new fuel lines, changed the plugs, checked fuel filter.nothing helped.saw a forum about checking small fuel filters in carb.how hard is this?have no manual.

Its actually very easy. Just remove the carb and open the side. If the carb is a mikuni, I believe it opposite side of the diaphram. Just make sure you get the gaskets and diaphram back in correctly. Cant hurt to install new gaskets and diaphram. Also make sure to clean out your jets while you are in there. They are not causing your problem, but may as well while you are in there. My first guess if it is a carb problem would be to check the needle. Sounds like it may be wore down and flooding the engine. That or it could also be an electrical problem.
