Seadoo crank to balancer timing

Hello! I have a 2004 Seadoo GTI RFI LE and I bought a rebuilt crank and sent my old one back and now I noticed that the timing marks will be out one tooth either way because the crank has a mark between the teeth and the balancer has 2 marks on the teeth.... Does it matter if it's out one tooth or is there another way of lining it up? I have done a few Seadoo engines but never had this problem before. Thanks!

Re: Seadoo crank to balancer timing

If it is timed correct the counter weights on both the crank and balanced will spin opposite of each other but will both be flush with the case at the same time as they come arround.
