Does a 94 waverunner III need engine oil?

Hi,
I just bought a 94 Yamaha waverunner III, does it take any engine oil?
I'm not talking about the 2 stroke fuel oil, but 5W-30 oil for the gearbox.
I can't find any port for adding oil or any kind of dipstick or oil level indicator.
The impeller was removed when I bought it, so I don't know if the oil drained
out when it was removed. I just thought it would need some kind of oil for the gearbox.

It's best you google how a 2 stroke engine operates and how it is lubricated before trying to work on it so you understand just how different it is from a 4 stroke

There is no oil in the crankcase. The engine is lubricated by the gas/oil mixture
