96 yamaha waveraider fule problem

i have a 96 yamaha waveraider and lately it has been giving me problems. it will start and idole fine but when i go to give it gas it will bogg down and stall out, and sometimes i can ease it into gitting it going. i think it has to do with not gitting enough gas. can anyone point me in a direction to start.

I bet if you rebuild the carb/fuel pump it will run fine.

Were you able to resolve this issue by replacing the fuel pump, or did you resort to something else.
