Gas Tank 94 GTX Seadoo

I removed the gas tank on my 94 GTX, since the fuel filter was getting trash in it. There was indeed trash in the tank, not much. Put the tank back in and started the seadoo and it would only run at about 1/4 speed. It is like the fuel line has a bend in it and the fuel is restricted. I looked but could not find anything. Does the cap on the back of the tank with the four lines coming out of the top have to be in a certain position? Any thoughts what may be the problem?

the filters in the carbs are probably all clogged up,, rebuild the carbs,, also bypass the fuel selector switch and go directly to the reserve on the fuel tank.

the carbs have to be clogged
clean the fuel lines also
