93 sport jet 90 no spark (i know, here we go again)

I have a 93 sea rayder with the 90 hp sport jet merc motor. I have no spark. I read a ton of info on this forum. I unhooked the black/yellow wire and had spark. So i started putting things back together. I came back out the next day to just double check and now i have no spark. No matter if black/yellow wire is hooked up or not. I have multimeter and nice spark tester.I would like to start checking for continuity but i am not sure where to start. Any and all help is appreciated.
