I HAVE A 1995 BOSTON Whaler Rage 15 with the 115 Evinrude jet drive.I had it on the lake this weekend but when I gave it full throttle the engine would just rev with little to no thrust and could smell rubber burning. I was able to get some thrust with a small amount of throttle. I finally had to shut it down and paddle to shore.Anyone ever had this problem before? Would it be engine to gear box problem or impeller problem?

Have not worked on one of these but smelling rubber I would say the engine coupler burned out (item 60)
