Looking to buy a 2001 Kawasaki 1100 ZXI. Hull is excellent condition. Looks great. The jet ski was flipped, and the girl rotated it back the wrong direction. Water got into the electrical box, and looks like some corrosion inside it. The igniter looks likes it may be ruined, and this is $450 new, unless someone has a known working one i can try.
The motor will not start. They applied the battery straight to the starter, and the motor turns over. They said the motor was cleaned out the following day after the flip.
What should i be looking for when I go look at this? They are selling it for $500 obo, and they are emphasizing the OBO, so im thinking offering $350 (they need the trailer for their other jet ski that sits in the lake during year)
