I am looking to change my 97 Kawasaki ZXI 750 to premix. I have a question about the process. There are two hoses that go into each of the carbs to pump the oil in. I can reach one of them to cap off, but I cannot reach the other one. Is it possible for me to just run one of the hoses to the other inlet and create a type of closed loop system to prevent air or vacuum leak ? Or do I need to remove both lines from the inlets and block them off individually ? I also have read some people still leave the pump on to lube the shaft ? Does that apply to my Kawasaki as well? Or does it only apply to certain models ?
