I've a 2003 glastron 175SX that has 14 1/2 x 19 pitch prop. I am wanting a back up prop. I found one in Craigslist that is a quicksilver brand that is brand new that's still in the box with the same diameter and pitch. My current one uses a cotter pin and keeper. Am I okay to purchase any props with the same size and pitch or should I be looking for something specific? Like do I need to purchase a new hub or other fittings to fit it in my boat? Are props standardized that it can be used for either a stern drive or an outboard motor? The prop for sale us $80.
