Michigan wheel prop 14 X 16 what is this for?

I was visiting my local scrapyard on other business, and saw a large 14 inch prop in the bin. I paid a few dollars for it, hoping it was brass, and took it home. I found this eBay ad for it:

But I still don't know what this would be used on? Is anyone still using this kind of equipment?

To me it looks like a prop off an old OMC electric shift stringer sterndrive.

This prop fits the older OMC model 14 large gear case drives from 1967 through 1977

This is what the adv. states.

Sorry, I have never heard of a model 14 large gear case drive.....So I guess it was part of an ib/ob setup? Probably not many of those still in use that old...

It's the early OMC stern drive, like the one in the lower picture.

So, like I figured, this is probably a nice decoration for the shop, not likely to be needed by anyone in the near future....
