1987 thundercraft Prop help.

I have a 4 blade 18 pitch prop. But my boat full throttle only goes 30 mph at 2400 rpms.... What prop would be best all around for my boat.. its only 16 ft. long... i check the motor and it stated that the max rpm at w.o.t should be between 4200 and 4600 what is gonna give me the best range for all around performance. 130 hp. 4 cyl. bowrider.

I think you have a motor problem and not a prop problem. I'd think an 18 would be about right if not enough. I doubt it's too much unless you have the wrong gear ratio in the drive. It should be stamped on the drive near the serial number. It should be close to 2:1.
