New Engine: 24 to 28P prop too much?

I just installed a crate cammed 383 in place of my old merc 6.2L. It's not a drastic change, but it has a few more ponies than the stock engine had (320hp)

The boat had 24P props on it's bravo 3 drive. It will now reach redline 5200 RPM at about 2/3 throttle. If I jump all the way up to a 28P prop, will that be too drastic of a change?

What ratio drive do you have on your 232?
Thinking a 2:0 if not 2:2 maybe

I have a 2.20 ratio drive.

i can’t figure out how to update my signature block. I sold my rinker 232 and now I have a rinker captiva 262.
