I'm new here so hello to all!!

I have a 18 foot ,2003 Carolina skiff sea chaser 180 flats with a 115 mercury 2 stroke and I have a solas stainless prop 13-1/4 x 17 and WOT 5200, looking to gain a little top end only getting bout 34 mph tops now. Would a 19 pitch help some or to much pitch? Or could I use a little more pitch ? Thanks in advance

If you're only getting 5200 rpm now, you don't want to go up in pitch. Check engine mount height. If it's mounted too low that will cost you both rpm and speed.

Don’t think you should be with less pitch, given that boat and engine. If that’s what you are seeing trimmed out...maybe have a check over the engine or make sure your hull isn’t water logged. Get a good prop too. They are pretty rubbish props, in my opinion.

I haven't compared a lot of props, but the Solas props I have used performed as good as any other.

That's a 2+2 engine. I have a 2002 model. It has a rev. limiter module which limits the rpm to 5250. You are at your max operating RPM. If you want more get a bigger engine. I'm running an early edition Laser II 20P and I hit the limiter on a cool day with a 2002 Crestliner 1750 (aluminum, no platforms like you have, 12% dead rise at the transom, reverse chines) Fish Hawk, with me alone and 24 gallons of gas, 3 batteries and tackle. On a warm day it stops at 5200 or thereabouts.
