Mounted on a 1987 Duroboat 15'. Currently running stock prop. Motor is smooth, quiet, and THIRSTY. Ran up and down the Columbia River: 28mph UP, 32 mph DOWN. 7-9 Seconds to get on plain with one passenger at the bow. I don't need a speed demon, but thought it would go faster. Boat is for fishing and leisure...count my blessings and leave it alone? Tach has not been installed yet, and I'm sure the rpms would help with your advice...?

Need to install tach firstly to check wot rpm achieved as currently loaded. Won't know if stock prop is making the engine to rev at least middle to max wot rpm range, which is ?
