Have a deal on a set of B6 props. I have a 1988 Albemarle (gas) 290DP, they came off a Carolina Classic with KAMD diesel 290DP. Are these interchangeable?? If so, what are opinions running a B6 on 5.7L gas 24' Alb. Saw one write up about someone using that size but not many. Thank you!

Usually the diesels run the A series props. They bolt up. However if the B6 is the right prop or not depends on your hull, motor, etc.

I ran B6 props on a built small block in my 24'

B series are indeed almost always for petrol powered boats.
I had B5’s on a 23ft and a 4.3 205hp. Boat weighed about 2000kgs and the wot RPMs were spot on at 4800 rpm.
Not sure what weight your boat is, but somewhere around a b5 or b6 would be close to the mark from memory around the VP charts.
As mentikned, the A series are usually on the diesels. Usually easy to tell by one prop having 4 blades and the other 3.
The B series have 3 and 3 blades. I’ll try and post a link to the guide I used to use.
