I would love some advise on my toon it’s a premier 250 grand isle. I just bought it and the GPS speedo doesn’t work. I’m assuming from my assessment it has no gps sensor. But I’m not sure I looked and traced wires and found nothing. Where can I buy a sensor or maybe I’m looking in the wrong place for it. Picture added.

Do you have other devices (e.g., navigation or fish finder) that use GPS? Do they work?

Welcome aboard.

Many GPS speedos have internal antennas. Does the trim gauge work?

As previously noted, the GPS receiver is a chip. You can mount it internal to the electronics or in a seperator, remote enclosure, ie. antenna.

Make and model number?

Start with basics.

Have you confirmed power to the unit?

Out in the open? Nothing overhead to block signals?

Yes the trim gauge works so I would assume yes it has power and there isn’t anything above it that would block signal it may have an internal antenna but it’s not working. Also I don’t have a fish finder or anything else using GPS. And with a make and model I took the unit out and it has no tags no numbers nothing.
