Hello all. Ive been reading the forums for a couple of years now but haven't joined in till now so this is my first post . I just wanted to show you pontoon fishermen my easy to make fishing rod holders. The building process is pretty obvious from the attached photo so I wont bore you with that. The material used was a polyurethane cutting board from Wall Mart. six 1 1/4 in plastic spacers and eight SS screws.Tools needed, was a drill and jig saw. Hope you guys like em

Probably work as a bait cutting station as well....

I like it. And I too have some repurposed Walmart cutting board on my pontoon boat. It's handy stuff.

Its an old post but I wanted to give you guys an update on the rod holders.
Do not use wall mart cutting boards. They are not UV resistant .
Apparently the UV light breaks down the polyurethane and it becomes very brittle.They did last a few years but both of them cracked badly in several places.
Disappointing, but I will rebuild with plywood and just paint them.
