Hey everyone Im new here.

I am looking for a new inflatable. I have owned many in the past and currently own a 13 foot Zodiac with a 25hp tohatsu. I am looking for a bigger boat somewhere in the 17 foot range. I want the catamaran style with hijackers for optimal speed and handeling. I will also tow a skier behind it. Can anyone give me advise on what my options are. I am leaning towards the DUX rescue boat which is 17'7 with a 90hp outboard. I want a fast boat that will do over 50mph. I know of other models like thundercat and caesar. I like the caesar boat but have no clue how to get it to the USA......Can annyone assist? I do like the DUX but have read some negative feedback about them and the price is a little steap in my opinion. Thanks

Well, since you asked.....To be honest, I would love to say "Nice looking boat" but I can't. Maybe it's the angle it was shot at, or the color, but to my eyes, it's a rather novel, but ungainly design. I'm not even going to say anything about speeding bananas. But this is just an opinion; do what makes you happy.

I contacted Biel racing, he just started selling their boats, he is the Only one in the USA. Im not a fan of the yellow either. I decided to go with a red one. He told me the boat will hit 100kph with a 90hp and right prop

Deejaycee can you give advice on a prop for best performance? 3 or 4 blade? Diameter, pitch?

Thanks

Well it all depends on what motor you are going to put on, I hit 103 km/h with my 50hp tohatsu with a 19p mercury cleaver ..... on my 4,1m cat ...

3 blade stainless, 21p - 23p race style cleaver or chopper, mercury props are best ... this is for flat water .... if you wanto jump waves I would suggest a 17p - 19p bunny ear prop (merc vengeance) ..... lotsa fun!
