Hey guys,

I just found this site and have a question about my inflatable. I bought a 1990 zodiac RIB boat. (well basically it was free) But it needed some work. It?s about 9-10 feet. I fixed a few things, but then i noticed the sounds of water in the (i think) floor. I opened the drain and water didn?t come out. I am guessing that it leaked in another way. Maybe between the floor and the tubing... not sure. But is there any way to get that water out?? I dont mind drilling a hole in there but i dont know where to even start.

Any help would be great!!!!
Graham

EDIT: i am a noob at all this, so when i say RIB boat, I mean it has a fiberglass bottom and floor. Not sure if that is technically a RIB or not.

Re: Help!!

Hi,

My advise would be to find where the leak is coming from. Place the boat in the water and look for a leak. Make sure the whole inside of the boat is dry and and then try and identify where it is coming from. Don't drill holes at this time. Once you have identified teh source of the leak you can decide what to do.
