I will be experimenting with adding trim tabs to my 9.5' raised floor sib. (Boat photo in my profile). I am curious if this will raise the stern and make the boat handle like a bigger boat. Right now the waterline goes to the midpoint of the pontoons in the rear.
My question is Do you know of any examples of those who have tried tabs on a raised transom before? And what angle should I try first? I think 25degrees up from straight up and down is the recommended.
I'll give it a shot at any rate, costs me nothing and cures the curiosity.
