ideas for improving oar locks on an inflatable raft?

Hello, just wanted some ideas for improving the oar locks on my sea eagle packfish 7. I am not too satisfied with the oar locks on this craft.

not a good idea in swift water, which I usually take this craft out in - Sea Rider I will get you some picts later today - I am going fishing in this again

What is it that you deslike about current oar holder and oar ? the oar comes off way easy from the ear ?

that is it - not all time however, but sometimes when I am manuevering in swift water - I haven't gotten into a mess yet, but it would be nice to not have to deal with a situation like that. Also it could be me & my lack of experience working with the oars.

An easy fix would be to install 2 thick rubber o'rings at both sides of each ear for the oar shaft to be held in place in between firts and third o'rings. Those cheapy inflatables comes with those oar holders.. You get what you payed for...LOL !!
