Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue before? I bought the boat last April, and it spent maybe 2 hours on the water all of last summer. Everything was good. I washed it and stored it neatly for the winter with very few folds and indoors. This week, I brought it to the lake, inflated it only to find a very slow leak in chamber 3. I checked the chamber thoroughly with soapy water, no leak! I checked the valve, and there was a very small leak coming from the mushroom valve. I replaced the entire Boston valve with a brand new after market valve and guess what? Still leaking from the mushroom valve!!
I have just installed another new complete valve, and have fingers, toes and everything else crossed that it will not leak overnight. Anyone tell me a better fix for this if it doesn't work? How can a mushroom valve fail in two different Boston valves?? Any advice or fixes greatly appreciated.
