I have been fishing there. I know you should call ahead of time and see if it is open to public. They close periodically to the public because the salmon are only able to be caught by the local Indians. I find that when I do go I call the Smokehouse in Sandpoint...they usually are spot on with what is going on. We usually fish the lake using a trolling motor, so not to scare the fish to much.
