I am jealous of those fancy little motels I have seen pictures of from Florida where you can have a little finger pier right in front of your room.

Is there anything that would come even close to that in Texas?

Look at the Inn at Clark's in Port O'Conner. It is awesome.

Texoma-or -Possum Kingdom Lake come to mind 1st--Ray Roberts-Bucannon- all have marinas & rooms for rent.
I keep my boat at Scott's Landing on Lake Grapevine- 1/2 mile from the house. But Trailer it 2 or 3 times a year for the weekend.
in 2 weeks wife & I are going to Beaver Lake in Arkansas.
