Official Notice

Crystal Isle has been chosen for the 2010 iboats get together. If you want a waterfront site, you need to make reservations ASAP. The site is $33.00 per night. It has been cleared that the tent campers can use the waterfront sites for tent camping. If you have a boat cabin, and need shore power, you can rent a waterfront site, and use the shore power, ( your responsibility for the correct pig tail connection).

I have block all the remaining waterfront sites,

Site #s 8,16,22, 41-45, 48, 52, 56-61.

At this time cabins and regular tent sites , no problems with reservations.

If you want a waterfront site, please make your reservations ASAP.

The Pool is open to all, the Club House will be at our disposal.

Let?s make this year better than last year. Also remember we need suggestions for sites for 2011,2012.

my parents still have the RV up north, and I think I'll chose the comfort of my bed, 20 min away over the hard ground , BUT I'm planning to get a site just to be able to keep my boat there for the weekend, $ 33 vs the cost of gas to trailer it back and forth each day is a no brainer.

I pick one close to the ramp ( mouth of canal ) if i can get it, that way if someone with a larger boat needs it we can switch at as later time.

Sure wish my wife and I could join you folks however we will be headed back to Canada by that time.

Well that's great !!!!
Daughters wedding in Jamaica is 3rd April, get back home, head off to our plant in Alabama around the 16th and arrive early on the 23rd boat in tow !!!!

To ALL Attending :

I tossed it out to Tashasdaddy earlier today that I am about 20 min away from Crystal Isles and if anyone would need to store a extra vehicle or boat or trailer at my place for a week or so in advance or for a week or so afterwords its not an issue...I have 3 acres and plenty of parking

edit to add, YOU have to bring it here......

if you want it washed its extra.....lol

Rick has site 48, i have site 44, recommended to Rentprop to take 45, and kenmyfan to take 43. that leaves 42 and 41 all of these are adjoining. 56 thru 60 are also adjoining.

Yep..just got site 48 this morning. Heather was really good to deal with. Everything is all set..just need to check our camping gear or see if we want to sleep in the cuddy! We bought this boat so we could sleep in it..hopefully a few miles out at sea....
Hmm, it has fresh water, soft cushions, propane stove and a shower (head) what else could we need??

My wife (Dawn) and I are planning on going, and I'm sure we'll have at least 2 little crew members with us for swabbing the deck and other menial tasks.

Lord knows, we don't go much of anyplace alone!! *L*

We live near Mark (Rentprop1) and could also store a vehicle or trailer for a bit if needed.

I checked with Heather on the Cabins..Maybe others need this as well.

Here is the info she gave me. The NO PETS in the cabin takes it off the table for us.

1. Price is $75/night. Normal is $95 per night
2. No pets in cabins. No smoking in cabins.
3. Cabins are air conditioned.
4. Cabins sleep 6 - 2 bedrooms and a loft
5. Cabins have a full bathroom, full kitchen, dishes, tv etc.

Count me in!

Just confirmed with the first mate, that we will be attending... I am sure I will have the boat done by then LOL!

So it will be me, the mrs, and the wee one (my son). (3)

She is looking into a cabin... (she is not much of a camper)... but I told her I would prefer to be waterfront, so we'll see how that goes...

I boated on the homossassa for nearly 20 years, and its not too far, (7miles ish) as a side idea (not sure what events are planned) we could always take a boat trip to the springs there too... (never been on Crystal River though).

Anyway, look forward to seeing everyone there!

Got my cabin booked for April 22-25, I'm thinking I may go down on the 22nd, that way I will have 2 full days there to enjoy.

Hmmmm.....sure would make a nice spring vacation instead of just a weekend, wouldn't it....

Some of our best fishing around these parts is in March and April...

Also, still nice weather wise...

We might have to reconsider how long we are there as well.....

I think that we are all sharing brain cells..

Diane & I were talking about how much work it was to set up camp (though we got there late Fri night last year..this year??) just to tear down Sunday.

With dragging the boat up this year and all it involves to set up camp..We are looking into arriving 2 days early to make the most of the area..
