White Island off the eastern Bay of Plenty of New Zealand was one of my best holidays to date. We spent four days catching big groper, kingfish and bluenose. We took a trip around the island with an excellent commentry from our crew and they looked after us very well. As a person who charters a lot of boats this is high praise indeed. The boat was Enchanter and we had the best time ever.
Ross

Re: White Island

Say Ross... did you see in the Herald today that some guy caught a 78.6kg bass (173.5 lb) just off White Island (Rungapapa Reef) - a suspected world record ? Used a 37kg line from his boat called "No Fear".

After reading your comments and seeing this... - that's where I'm goin' fishing next.

Good choice 62_Kiwi,
And no I don't have anything to do with this particular boat!
I added this because one of my workmates suggested I was trying to sell that boat to the public. I'm not but when I get a good deal I like to share it with others.
Ross
