Barnegat Bay

Will be down in Lavallete for two weeks. Planning on bringing my 15ft jet boat and putting it in a slip for the second week in order to do some pleasure boating around the bay. I've read a lot about the shallow water. Will stay away from any inlets. I will probably take a trip to Tices Shoal one of the days. Any other recommendations? Any special info regulations on fishing? Never fished the bay's before. Any recommendations on restaurants I can pull up to? Any info would be great.

Get your self some updated charts or a marine gps. Shallow coming out of Lavallette and on bay side of IBSP, plenty of water on the Bayville side. You can dock at Martells Waters Edge, always choppy but you can moor and they will dingy you in.
