The wife and I were wanting to expand our cruising area and plan a couple day trip away from home. I was curious if there were any good web sites to use to plan a trip? My main concern other than weather would be fuel since the boat doesn't have a thousand gallon gas tank nor a sail. I would like to be able to scope out potential stopping points, fill up points and anything in between.

In case you were wondering we were planning on going from Charleston, SC to Myrtle Beach, SC via the Intercoastal Waterway.

ActiveCaptain is one of the most known. You have to register in order to plan a route but it's free. All the ammenities (restaurants, fuel, marina, etc.) are well indicated on the map.
