Any help would be appreciated. Recently acquired a 14'Cedar on Oak Fame/Canvas Shell Lake that I am going to restore. The only identification number is 104 1193 which is found on the interior 'keel' forward of the front seat. I know some of the history of Shell Lake so it has to be pre 1958 when wood boat production stopped. There are three other items on the boat On the front deck is the brass Shell Lake Plate. On the inside of the stern is an 8 HP motor limitation and on the middle seat is a quite warn decal on boat safety from the Outboard Boat Club of America. It appears to be all orginal as the canvas and trip has only one layer of paint. Any idea what year ?
