google "wera screwdrivers" if you never heard of stainless steel screwdrivers before.

Was that Billy Mays I heard in the background? :D:D

How practical is a screw driver with a warning attached to that says: " must be stored separately from conventional tools and can only be used on stainless steel hardware."

For some..not too practical..but for those of us who restore older boats with alot of visible hardware...priceless :D

Stainless steel stains less than other steels. But it still stains. Hence the name "stainless". :)

For some..not too practical..but for those of us who restore older boats with alot of visible hardware...priceless :D
I can tell you from years of experiance that you need a SS screwdriver to tighten stainless fastners on an old boat about as much as you need a Ronco Veg-o-matic in your kitchen to prepare a gourmet meal. :D:D

Buy a good quality chrome vanadium screwdriver and forget about it. ;)
