Not really TLC.....but it always makes me laugh to see a feud going on about a boat. In this case, this guy is selling this boat:

I can't see why a former owner would care what the new owner does with the boat, he sold it? Without seeing the boat, or for that matter, he's only asking $2500, if the motor and trailer are good, it's probably not too far off.
Figuring that a buyer could probably buy it for a lot less with cash.
Even if the deck is a botch job, if it's a turn key boat, its worth every bit of that. Even if the deck needs redoing.
For me personally, I'd want nothing to do with it, it's not my type of boat and I know better than to get involved in a boat with a rotted and patched floor, but for the average guy, who just don't care and only wants a boat to beat on for the summer, its probably perfect.
I have lots of buddies that buy a different boat every year, beat it to death all summer, and dump it when fall comes or next spring. All that it has to do is run and not sink. They trash the boat no matter what it is, so condition don't matter, most will just toss a loose piece of ply over a soft floor anyway. They would no way consider fixing one right because it most likely won't run or float when the summer is out anyway. Almost always they are able to sell it for as much or close to the amount they paid for it, even if it needs patching or serious work.
